Here is a check list for your Twig Cove Vacation. If
you visit Twig and notice that something might have made your vacation
more enjoyable and you wish you'd known about before you got here,
please send us a message and we will add it to the list.
Bring water toys, canoes, kayaks... Perfect place for
them.
Bring you bikes... The camp road is fun to explore,
but you will really want them when you go down to Acadia's Carriage
Road trails.
Bring water shoes, they help on the rocks. No white
sand beaches here.
Bring baby equipment, i.e. life preservers, beds,
toys... we have a (1) booster seat and a few nice Little Tikes trucks,
but otherwise, kid stuff is long gone.
Games if you have favorites, nothing like a family
round the table playing spoons or Uno. Good times, good memories...
Back packs... Stick a lunch in there and take off down
the camp road. You will find lots of places for picnics.
Fishing poles... not much of a fisherman so you will
have to bring your own.
Firewood... there is lots of deadfall in the woods
that can make good kindling, but not much for a long evening by the
fire.
